Marketing campaigns for software product?


I am trying to find out some more ideas to help market the software. We attend conferences and send postcards prior. What else can we do as direct mail to pique more interest?

    - tap channels like dealers to sell your software
    - arrange trainings for your dealers and separate it into sales and technical session, add soft skills training
    - direct mailing to corp customers
    - telemarketing to follow up DMs
    - segment market as to potential customers may it be in terms of number of PCs or industry, then telemarket to customers for them to know your product
    - make a trial CD either for 15 or 30 days and include it in your direct mail
    - have a customer satisfaction survey

    there’s more you can do, u just have to understand the market, identify needs, position your product as to what you can offer to your customers and highlight what your product, and sustain and increase demand for your product
