VZW Audiovox 6800. Has Windows Mobile 6.0, picks up wifi and can do Broadband access…as well as any obscure or pop email you need. Also, you can do this w/o the voice option, it costs slightly more.

Pretty much any pocket pc has wifi, software you can install, and e-mail.

Some well known companies are Palm and HP.

A palm TX is great, I use it all the time and travel a lot. You can install the software on your computer and sync to the back and forth. It comes with Documents to go and you can save file to the PDA and e-mail them out or beam them. This is the best PDA out there.

I concur with sassylady, the TX will allow you to do what you describe without a cell phone.

There are lots of 3rd party software available if you don’t find the “stock” programs to work for you.

If Versa Mail is not working for you, you may look into SnapperMail for a fee. From reviews, it is well worth the money.

The TX can also double up as your MP3 player, video / movie viewer, so you don’t have to carry another gadget.

    Good luck.
