It is a manuscript from my editor on Word and I am working on 2nd draft thru editing. I marked up the first 58 pages, marked it as Saved, and now can’t find the Saved version. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Click the Start Button and open the “My Recent Document” listing. You should see the document listed there.
If you know the name (or any part of it) you can use the “Search” – Files and Folders in the Start Menu to look for it.
If it was an attachment to an e-mail, try reopening the attachment and see if the changes are saved there.
If you did the editing in Word, try starting the Word program and doing a File / Open. Usually it will take you to the last directory you accessed (which should be where that document was saved.)
Oh, I hope you didn’t just open the document right out of the email and start editing! Files are not meant to be edited that way (although there’s not even a warning about it). They’re usually deleted the moment you exit Word.
There’s a slight chance the file is still in your Temp directory (C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Local Settings\Temp). Look there for a .doc file with the document’s name.
