My server is blocked by Yahoo Spam Filter?
I’ve had this domain, www.catfishing.tv, for several years now and I’ve never spammed anyone or even had an smtp server running on it for several years. When my forum sends someone an email that is on a yahoo account it dumps the confirmation email from phpbb2 forum software into their bulk folder. I’m wondering if there’s a way possible to get this or any domain off the blocked list? I also have catfishin.net running on the same server and it’s not being filtered out by yahoo email. I have my dialup through att/yahoo and my email goes through yahoo email server pop.att.yahoo.com so this is how I know it’s being blocked and several other yahoo users say it’s going into their bulk folders as well. This isn’t that critical but I was just curious about a possible way to get taken off these filters as I don’t see any possible reason why the domain is being blocked in the first place. No one has ever spammed through my server so you can see why I’m curious as to how it even got filtered
Thanks legend but it’s yahoo’s email server that’s filtering my catfishing.tv emails to everyone’s bulk mail folder.
I’d like to use my catfishing.tv smtp server as my default email account as I’m identified with that account or that server is actually where everyone expects to get email from me, also.
In other words I’d like to be able to use my catfishing.tv email address to respond to other folk’s emails but if it’s going to be filtered out then when I respond they may never see the response. That is the problem and why I’d like to see catfishing.tv domain removed from their email filter as it’s unjustified as no one has ever spammed from my domain (catfishing.tv)
