Email Marketing Software

I am not looking for fancy looking Vaio or mini lightweight HP… I am just looking for the most powerful. I would need widescreen screen. the size is not a matter. I need a laptop for the only purpose of developing softwares while i am “on the road”.
Well, definitely not a Mac. i work with Microsoft Dinosaurs. Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2008, Silverlight (and all it toys), Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks. Mostly those.

I just graduated from college with a degree in Journalism (w/creative writing minor), and I need the best software for my new job. I have tried Microsoft Office and it does not do much for my needs. I need a program designed for professional writers that has a strong ability to detect and correct grammar problems.

when i get email and the icon appears on the bottom in my tool bar screen i click on it and nothing happends…i have to go to my yahoo mail desk top to open the yahoo mail

My dv9000 stopped booting up and it’s done lol. Now I’m hitting the market and things have changed quite a bit so I need some advice.

I mainly need somebook that is lightweight, EXCELLENT BATTERY LIFE is a MUST, but still has enough tools to be able to complete simple tasks.

I will mainly be using this for notes for school and various internet hobbies (no games or anything like that. pretty much just email and watching videos and whatnot).

Netbooks seem like they have the ability to be the perfect tool for me, but I really don’t think it could be as good as it seems. Any help on that would be great.

Also, if someone could let me know about some notebooks that could accomplish everything I’m trying to do as well that would be great.

Mind you… I am a student who is living on a students budget. I am not cheap by any means, but I am not willing to shell out 2k for a computer (at least not at this point in time!)
